About Us

Since 1958, The Arc of Palm Beach County has been providing quality services, education and advocacy for children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Our programs offer a continuum of care that spans the entire life cycle. Services can begin as early as during pregnancy, in order to minimize or prevent developmental delays, and options are available to address a variety of needs for infants, children, teens, adults and families.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Arc of Palm Beach County is to improve the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities, and their families, through services, education and advocacy.

In order to accomplish this mission, The Arc operates programs throughout Palm Beach County that deliver services directly to developmentally challenged individuals from infancy through adulthood, as well as to families in need of support.

Commitment to Excellence

The Arc’s standard of performance is EXCELLENCE.

Those we serve depend upon us to individually and collectively provide them with the highest quality services available. It is their right to expect it and it is our responsibility to deliver it.
