Essential Duties:
- Coordinate and facilitate community and center-based activities which promote an inclusive environment for
- individuals, families and community partners.
- Establish collaborations with individuals and businesses for community inclusive opportunities
- Assist with the coordination of in-service workshops as well as team and volunteer meetings
- Conduct center based and in-home intakes with families when needed, and ensure linkage to community resources.
- Assist with the completion of agency reports and data requirements for funders and grants.
- Provide supervision and evaluation of services to team members and AmeriCorps members.
- Recruits, hires and supervises Members working with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Develops and implements an annual training plan for AmeriCorps Members and encourages a culture of continuous
- learning and teamwork.
- Develops and implements tools for progress monitoring.
- Attends AmeriCorps conferences and trainings as required, as well as other professional or program development
- opportunities as feasible. Encourage continuous personal growth and performance improvement among program
- staff and members.
- Supervise per diem direct care providers including performance evaluations.
- Assist with maintaining data systems for tracking/billing
- Represent the Arc at community advisory and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Receive and calculate timesheets and mileage for team members and AmeriCorps Members.
- Maintain departmental rosters and databases as required by all funders and in accordance with agency procedures.
- Maintain participant files including bills, chronicles, service authorizations, support plans and profiles.
- Assist with direct care of adult and child participants in center based programs as necessary
- Market events and activities with regards to flyers, calendars and correspondence to members, participants and their guardian(s) and/or families.
