A Star-Spangled Celebration of Independence, Inclusion, and Inspiration
This is the year to stand for freedom, equality, and opportunity for all. Join us in celebrating our nation’s legacy by uplifting those who were Born to Shine! As we commemorate 250 years of American independence, The Arc of Palm Beach County is proud to champion the ideals of freedom and inclusion—empowering children and adults with disabilities to live with purpose and pride.
On February 28, 2026, The Arc of Palm Beach County invites you to the Born to Shine Gala at the Kravis Center in West
Palm Beach. This elegant evening honors America’s 250th anniversary and celebrates the resilience and achievements of people with disabilities.
Co-chaired by Beverlee Miller Raymond and John Raymond, passionate advocates for inclusion, the event supports The Arc’s mission to empower children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Beverlee’s advocacy is personal, having taken on the role of primary caregiver after her brother developed a seizure disorder and brain damage from a childhood illness.
Please join us at the Born to Shine Gala!
